My Volga 21 is on board a ship on its way to Australia now. I expect it to arrive at the end of October.
I have a question regarding seat belts.
We have a requirement in Australia for seat belts to be fitted lap/sash in the front and lap at the back.
Does anyone know of any issues or know of problems or have pictures in having a lap/sash belt with inertia reels fitted in the front?
1. Are the door pillars suitable for anchorage. etc.
2 .Is the installation best with a stalk or belt coming through the front seat?
3. I have a choice of ordering the front belts to be
330 or 380 or 430 cm in length. which would be best?
Any information of the above would assist me in ordering the belts in advance before the car arrives.

G'day!
If the car didin't come factory with seat belts, You don't have to put them on in Estonia and even Australia if the car is original.
I think it's even illegal to put them on in Estonia.I don't think anyone has put seat belts in Gaz 21 before. |

On further investigation at this end, it appears I do not need them either after all in Australia.
